Nordic culture, community, and heritage across the Americas

The Young Scandinavians Club is a San Francisco-based organization open to those with Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, Norwegian, or Swedish heritage. Members have access to club-owned cabins in Clear Lake and Lake Tahoe, while social and cultural events take place year-round — unique among Nordic clubs for its recreational properties.

Svea Lodge #253 is a local lodge of the Vasa Order of America, dedicated to preserving and sharing Nordic culture and heritage. The lodge participates in cultural and social programs, folk dancing, genealogy assistance, and scholarships for members of Scandinavian descent in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Instituted on September 29, 1968, Oak Leaf Lodge #685 meets at 3947 W. Kimber Drive in Newbury Park. Part of the Vasa Order of America's Pacific Southwest District No. 15, the lodge promotes Scandinavian culture, heritage, and food through community events and fellowship in Ventura County.

Chartered on April 8, 1912, in Sacramento, Monitor Lodge #218 is a local lodge of the Vasa Order of America, a fraternal society originally established for Swedish immigrants. Now dedicated to preserving and sharing Scandinavian culture and heritage, it is one of the oldest continuously operating Swedish-American organizations in California.
