Congregation formed 1877 by Swedish immigrants; church built 1878 in Late Gothic Revival style. Listed on National Register of Historic Places 1995. Tied to 1876 Northfield bank robbery by James-Younger Gang. Maintained by Christdala Church Preservation and Cemetery Association (est. 1994). No longer active.
