Gammelgården's annual Midsommardagen Celebration is the Museum's largest outdoor event of the year, featuring a traditional maypole (majstang) raising, live Scandinavian music, folk dancing, children's activities, artist demonstrations, flower crown making, Swedish outdoor games, food trucks, and a vendors fair on the Museum's 11-acre grounds. Also available are self-guided tours of the Museum's historic buildings and exhibits in the Välkommen Hus (the big red building).
