Skandia Midsommarfest is a traditional Swedish midsummer celebration showcasing Nordic folk music and dancing by the Pacific Northwest's premier folk musicians and dancers. The event features the raising of a garlanded Midsommar pole, followed by community dancing around it. Attendees enjoy Scandinavian delicacies, a Hemslöjdsmarknad (crafts market), and live performances throughout the day from approximately 11 AM to 6 PM.
