Norwegian Constitution Day celebration at Mindekirken, the Norwegian Lutheran Memorial Church in Minneapolis. The weekend celebration includes Norwegian and English church services, a parade, children's games and bouncy houses, folk dancing, bunad displays (traditional Norwegian costumes), ice cream for children, and performances by the Twin Cities Hardingfelelag (Hardanger fiddle ensemble). Syttende Mai is celebrated as 'Barnas dag' (children's day) with family-friendly activities.
